And I Quote

"You definitely have a unique way with words, not too many cliches which is good. Your blogs contain a lot of what happens in your life...it helps your readers "be there with you." Also, at times you delve into deeper topics (spiritual) that you must be thinking about. It helps your readers see another side of you (which is good)...I always look forward to reading your blog. Also your pictures show that you definitely have an eye for detail...you always seems to say something that is unique and funny." -Alanna Smith

Summer. The stuff that makes me stay up late and sleep in. Alanna admitted to the same. We are instant messaging right now, talking about siblings, communication, blogging, names, favorites...

My mind - It's crazy - I can see you all rolling your eyes and nodding your heads out there. No, what I mean is that when I go to blog tonight all these blogging topics started flying threw my head...that later.

I'm trying to find writer's blogs. Not having a whole lot of "luck" or what I'm looking for. Jon told me to look up a name in google but I forgot exactly and my search came back rather...distasteful. Blogging is very unique. I think its probably the modern day essay, less refined. Of course my college english teacher did tell me a personal essay is an expanded, edited blog. It reminds me of E.B. White who said, "The essayist is a self-liberated man, sustained by the childish belief that everything he thinks about, everything that happens to him, is of general interest." Maybe that's me, although I seriously doubt I'm an egotist. I just enjoy writing. I've also come to the conclusion that everyone has their own blogging style. Some are different than others, and others simply are not different from most. Personalities come out in the blogs though, and this is what makes them unique.

I got a card in the mail today. It was very cool looking, and it meant a lot...so thank you!

Alive. It's a Christian music festival that I'm going to tomorrow. I, undoubtedly should have made the decision to go before this, and would have saved a bit of money. I wasn't even planning to go this year, but on the proposition and request of my friend and youth leader...I'm going. I hesitate to spend the money when I'm not working. I have a feeling that I shouldn't go. I think it's the feed me mentality. Entertain me. I long to share my faith. Plus, I'm going to camp out afterwards so that should be fun.

AYC. I went to the website today. I'm getting pumped. Scanned through all the pictures from last year. I've been studying Bible Bowl and am just getting really excited about it. I told Keith tonight it just makes me wanna get out there and play some softball. I said this as I motioned my arm as if I was throwing a softball. Ahh. Youth camp.

It's kind of unnerving (sp?) to be quoted on someone else's blog! :) (Don't forget about my 20%!) :) How was CC? As I listen to "Every Man" I realize that I'm going to have see them sometime! They're my favorite (at least for today!) lol
